I was extremely disappointed with my hotel room. The lobby and location were good. The hotel has 2 on-site restaurants. One of the restaurants is a sushi bar (if you like sushi). I love sushi. The food was good but the service was poor. The front desk host talked to me like I was there to clean the floors. I... more

I booked a stay at the Intercontinental Boston for a Saturday night the first weekend in May. Upon arrival, I was pleased to hear that I could check in early, especially since I had arrived in Boston very early on a red-eye from the West Coast. The check-in process was smooth, quick, and uneventful. I quickly went up to my... more

We stayed at the InterContinental last weekend. Boston seems to be a very pricey city for hotels, and we booked this largely due to the excellent corporate rate given to my company. For the price we paid (about 40% of the regular rack rate), this was an excellent value. However, If we had paid full rack rate, I would not... more

Room was large, with a modern design, spacious layout, great lighting, and flat-panel TV. The bathroom had a tub and a separate shower. There was no view, our window faced another building, we could hear delivery trucks in the morning, and loud bangs of the doors by the service people. On the first night there was no turn-down service (it... more

We booked via Hotwire ($150/night) for a long weekend which was great value given what that the hotel requested when contacted directly. The rooms are a good size, clean and have a large and well equipped bathrooms. The service is generally good and the hotel has a spa area with pool and gym. The whole design is very "corporate" and... more

The property is new and nice - rooms are large and well decorated, bathroom design is excellent. Beds and linen are sub-par. The service is, in my opinion, poor. The ability to deal with customers' requests with finesse leaving the customer satisfied distinguishes a high-class property from a run-of-the-mill tourist hotel. I felt that Intercontinental lacked the finesse whatsoever. Judge... more

We had to be careful gettiing dressed etc as the office staff were directly liiking into our room and us... more

Great new hotel. The rooms were a nice size with comfortable bedding. They offer an upgrade for priority one holders ($25-$35 per day per person) to access the intercontinental club room. They serve a nice breakfast, lunch (week days) afternoon snack and a nice happy hour with some great food and drinks. Worth the extra money. The only downside was... more

The rooms at the Intercontinental are nothing short of luxurious. We stayed on the 12th floor in a corner king deluxe suite and the room was amazing. The soaking tub and tiled shower were beautiful. The plasma TV and comfortable bedding was also very nice. We were very impressed with the room service. The food was great, and they actually... more

My fiance and I went to stay a couple of nights to check things out because we were looking at their function room to get married. The hotel was just built in 2006, and it's a great location - right on the harbor, next to South Station and the New England Aquarium, and close to the North End and Fanueil... more
