This is a large hotel well located in Boston for sightseeing but in need of a refurbishment. The rooms are spacious and the bed very comfortable but they are trapped in a 70s time warp, particularly the bathroom. Service was fine and the buffet breakfast good value and quite nice but not well presented. The hotel is attached to a... more

Good stay (late March 08) at this Back Bay hotel. I was here for five nights for a professional conference. As Mrs. G is in the same profession, we both participated, and had Kiddo along as well. I’ve stayed here before, but it’s been 5+ years. Our conference drew about 1000 people. All meetings and our exhibit hall were on-site.... more

$429 a night is ridiculous. With $45 in taxes, this hotel has become a $500 a night stay. Rooms were fine, room service was okay, but the price really turned me off. Positive is that it's within walking distance of my client. Plus. more

This hotel is huge, so don't look for personalised service. All staff was however very efficient and friendly. My room on the 17th floor was clean and comfortable, although housekeeping didn't clean carefully behind the curtains. The bathroom is a little small for a hotel of this standard, but comfortable and clean. There is little choice of restaurants right in... more

This property is in serious need of a face lift. The price for the tiny, dirty room is the same as many newer and cleaner rooms in the city. Do not be fooled into thinking that Marriott takes "care" of all of the properties the same. This hotel has bad food, slow elevatros and old carpet! YUCK. not a good... more

Stayed at the Marriott Copely Place for a business meeting. Was there by myself thus I don't have a great feel for how this property would work for tourist or a family vacation. Pros: 1. Nice rooms with large functional bathrooms. 2. Great bed 3. Good location - in Boston business district but close to many good restraunts and shopping.... more

Ran the Boston Marathon this past weekend and this place was great. Central location, everything you could ask for, connected to an amazing mall, tons of food options, and really nice beds. I would stay here again in a second! Parking is expensive, so factor that into the budget! more

Very nice hotel. Check in was very fast and efficient. I was offered a two queen room, but asked for a king and the clerk cheerfully fulfilled my request. I booked the room on Priceline, but didn't get the "Priceline Treatment" you sometimes get at other hotels. Room service was pretty good. Loved the French Onion Soup. :-) The location... more

I stayed here for one night during a business trip. Check in was a breeze and the room was great. Super clean and comfortable. The bed and linens were amazing. Food was good, Room service was on-time and staff were friendly. The only downside was that I would have liked a 3pm checkout since I arrived at midlight the night... more

Recently had a three night stay at the Marriott Copley Place and had a good experience. The beds were comfy, the hotel (both my room and the common areas) was very clean and the hotel is in a great location. Easy walking distance to shopping on Newbury St. and restaurants the next street over (don't remember the name of the... more
