The Rockhurst is as reported except it is clean and the beds are comfortable......the pool is shot.........location is great only a couple of blocks to the main drag.......owner is strange but is also very nice........this motel is a couple of steps better than tent camping but not as bad as others have said more

My family and I stayed at this Motel in May of 2008. We traveled in a group of about 20. We were looking for a place that could accomidate our large group, and this was the most cost effective. The property is a wonderful little old fashioned motor inn and I've enjoyed going there for years. This year was a disaster. The manager fought with her boyfriend and was cursing up a storm! The pool was closed. And when we were ready to check out in the morning - no one was in the office. Came home to find... more

After hiking, biking and driving all day, I arrived in the early evening and the front desk was not manned! Back in 15 min sign was up but no one appear for almost 1 1/2 hrs. Rooms & rates were decent. more
