My husband and I went to Guam for a week of vacation. We loved the idea of going on vacation in the "USA" as we are currently expats in China. That being said, our first greeting was by the front desk employees who didn't speak English very well. Now, being an expat I am usually patient but this was rediculous... more

The hotel is good value for money given its location. Room is large, you get a good view of Tumon bay and coastline from the veranda. The front desk personnel are warm and accommodating. If you want to avoid shrieking kids and noisy tourists, then this is the place for you. The free shopping buses, DFS Galleria shuttle service and... more

Business trip to Guam, all the Guam hotels are pretty shabby and overpriced. This time tried the Marriott, and was as usual disappointed. Whatever the normal time is for a hotel remodel, hotels on Guam go for years past these "use by" dates - hallways smelly, carpet crunchy, linens tired and bathroom fixtures leaky and worn out. This hotel has... more

Stayed on business, had internet and a comfortable bed. The place is run down, needs refreshing. Pool was old and didn't look very clean, lobby area was confusing with multiple levels. I didn't eat at the hotel, can't rate the food. more

I use Marriotts because they are convenient, reasonably priced and competent, but the Marriott on Tumon beach in Guam is much better than this. Perhaps it is because the clientèle, mainly from Japan, expects higher standards of courtesy and service: perhaps it is because the staff, mainly from Guam and the Philpines, are naturally more courteous and helpful. In any... more

I spent a night at this hotel - easily the shabbiest Marriott I've ever stayed at - and I've stayed at a LOT of Marriotts. The hotel lobby and common areas inside the building are OK, the room is small, the bed being the only good part of it, the bathroom is bare and very old (most probably not been... more

This was the perfect hotel for the 1 day stopover. On the way to another island I had a 14 hour layover at the Marriott. Met at the airport (11.30pm) and taken straight to the hotel, room was already checked in and they handed me the key, took an imprint of the trusty credit card and I was in the... more

The Marriott is a nice hotel with nice rooms and a _fantastic_ view (see attached photo). The rooms were well kept and comfortable. Everything worked and we were happy to stay here. The Marriott is the wrong property to stay at if you want to play at your hotel. There is a pool, but that's pretty much it for hotel... more
