Laie Inn is far from the hustle and bustle of Waikiki, but it's truely, an authentic Hawaiian experience! It's litterally across the street from the beach and the PCC is right next door; not to mention the McDonald's is too! :) It's just before North Shore and away from all the "touristy" locations. The rooms are comfortable (not 5 star,... more

We chose the Laie Inn because it was the most inexpensive place we could find on the north shore. The motel is old and shabby (and I am NOT fussy). The lobby is ok and the employees in the lobby are friendly. As for our room, there was dried blood on the bedsheet and blanket when we arrived. The windows... more

I loved the La'ie Inn!!! It was a very nice place. Sure the facility is old and needs a renovation, I believe it's been there since the 1960's, but it is clean and the accomadations were excellent. The AC was loud, but it worked!! The pool isn't olympic size but you can get a good workout in a few laps.... more

We knew that Laie Inn was old and run down but were not prepared for the terrible condition of the place. All three of us think that the public would be well served if this place was closed down immediately. It's dirty. Our lanai windows were broken and stuck in the open position. Walls were dirty. Carpet = filthy. Went... more

The lights..well the lamps..worked some of the time..Our last night the really nice looking AC that some handyman put in with wood to fill... more

I wanted to visit Oahu and to get a sense of the island's beauty. Laie Inn is on the most beautiful side of the island, and you can just book over the phone and get a confirmation number. Done. I found the staff at the hotel extremely helpful. If you are looking for a deal, this is it. I was... more

I stayed at the Laie Inn for over a week with my wife. I found the motel to be clean and the staff to be very friendly. The location of this motel is a real plus, as it is near all of the North Shore activities. The Polynesian Cultural Center is next door and the Laie Inn saves a traveler... more

Our townhouse was tented this week for termite fumigation and I had to find a place that would allow me to stay for a single evening and also allow me to bring a cat... I was familiar with the laie Inn from driving past many times on day trips around the island. I had heard some real horror stories about... more

I'm not uppity or anything. This is a legitimate review. If you're from a third world country and you're accustomed to spending time in dingy, insect-infected, cinder block/adobe structures, then this hotel will be fine. The pro is that this hotel is less than 200 yards away from the entrance to the Polynesian Cultural Center. The problem is that you... more
