Our Room was clean, perfectly functional and very well equipped. We had a nice view, a beautiful pool, coolers, body boards, restaurant guides and more! We felt our selves very welcome and homelike. With the quietly located B&B being close to the beautiful beach park in Kailua we were just perfectly happy, not only because the action of Waikiki is... more

Here's the best way I can put it: our plan was to visit Oahu first, then go to Kauai next year, then Maui, etc. But after staying for a week at Papaya Paradise, we are seriously thinking about simply going back to Kailua again, and staying here. Here's another way of putting it: don't you wish you had parents who... more

Large bedroom , Comfortable to sleep in, more than 2 adults would be crowded. No view from the room. Open door and walk out nice view of the mountains, pleasant landscaping and the small in ground pool is there. A moveable fence surrounds the pool making it uninviting. We did not use the pool. Nice large bathroom with jalousie window... more

This was the first time my husband and I have stayed at a bed and breakfast, and it was a fantastic experience - Bob and Jeanette made us feel like we were members of their family visiting a private paradise! Our room was clean and comfortable, the lanai was a heavenly place to start the morning with a cup of... more

This was our fourth time at the Papaya Paradise B&B in beautiful Kailua, Oahu. We keep coming back because of three things; 1. The location; Kailua, perfect climate, one of the most beautiful uncrowded beaches in all the world, wonderful restaurants close by and the town is not busy with tourists since there are no hotels here. 2. The B&B... more

The room was noisy. Pool filter pump was right outside the window and ran from 10 am to 3 pm. Road noise: the room was about one hundred feet from a busy road and commuter traffic could be heard morning and night till 9 pm. Breakfast was cereal, milk and lender bagels with cream cheese, and coffee, very substandard. The pool... more

We really enjoyed our stay there. The owners are really nice and helpful, and prepared a set of binders with island and activity information for us to look over. The room was spacious and clean, although our "king bed" was actually just two twin beds rolled next to each other -- honeymooners might want to see if the other room... more

Papaya Paradise was a great palce to stay, especially if you have a larger group. For our trip, we had eight people and rented both of the rooms in Papaya Paradise and the two rooms in the B&B next door, which is affiliated but run by a different couple. Bob and Jeanette, the owners, really made our trip wonderful. Bob... more
