My husband and I spent the second part of our honeymoon at Olinda Country Cottages where we were upgraded courtesey of the B&B to the lovely hidden cottage. Although we were initially dissapoointed to learn that the outdoor jacuzzi had been removed, we were otherwise very delighted with our stay. The cottage felt huge, private, quiet, clean and comfortable. There... more

My sister and i stayed in the Pineapple Sweet for two nights. It was lovely. We had come from a week at Wailea Marriott so it was a nice change. The inn is about 10 minutes from town but it is a nice drive. The room was very clean and comfortable. You are far away from it all but it... more

We stayed here for 2 nights with the idea that it would put us closer to the Haleakala crater in case we decided to go up for sunrise. This is a nice B&B and we had the whole Inn to ourselves for the 2 nights. The location is so far up a windy twisty road, though, that I actually felt... more

I rated this B&B as "neutral/average" as I wasn't in love with it nor did I hate it. We stayed at the Inn and not the private cottage (which I suspect is a lovely place from what I could see). The Inn is just a house and we guests have the upstairs. The rooms are clean and quiet with decent... more

I stayed at the Hidden Cottage for five nights in 2005. It was a wonderful place to stay. I visited Maui on a stopover on my way back to the states from China, and I wanted something peaceful and away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist scene. I booked the Hidden Cottage and was very impressed. The booking... more

First, we drove past lovely meadows, bird sanctuaries and towering forests, and around every curve, the view below got prettier and prettier. Then, we arrived to find one of the lovliest inns on Maui. The panoramic view is stunning...mountain, valley, ocean, giant sky - it's got everything. We highly recommend taking in the sunset with a bottle of wine out... more

My husband and I spent 2 nights in the Inn towards the end of July in 2005. We were on Maui for 2 weeks for our honeymoon, and stayed at the following places: Mariott Wailea, The Whaler (Ka'anapali Beach), Weston Ka'anapali and 1 night in Hana (can't remember the name). This was by far my favorite place we stayed. The... more

My husband and a stayed at the Hidden Cottage during our honeymoon in August, 2005. The cottage was amazing. The grounds and the protea garden were beautiful. The cottage was private, clean, had plenty of space, and felt like home. We stayed at 4 different B&B's while on Maui and this was the best. The location is perfect for hiking... more

We stayed at the Hidden Cottage in Olinda for 3 nights during our honeymoon. This is a very quiet place but very peaceful also. We didn't see anyone the whole time we were there. During the day we went to the beach at Baldwin State Park and up to Mt. Haleakala State Park. The nights were cool. If you're going... more

We stayed for the first half of our vacation at Olinda, a steep drive halfway up the side of Haleakala volcano through ranches, eucalyptus groves and flower farms in the upcountry region of Eastern Maui. The upcountry area is incredible, lush and green and not nearly as developed as the more resort-laden areas to the south and west. Olinda is... more
