This is a small, non-chain inn just outside of Lahaina town center. Reasonably inexpensive, clean, but older. "Apartments" are very small, but adequate for 1 or 2 people max. All units have older "island" decor. Small kitchen with small, gas stove and full sized refrigerator has disposal and limited cooking utensils. We stayed in the Ginger Hideaway for a week in April, on our first visit to Maui. We loved Maui and will definitely return, and will stay at Makai Inn every time.
