We needed a cheap place to stay for one night before heading to Hana, and I booked it solely because it was inexpensive but still on the beach (so we could enjoy a sunset our first night in Maui). I was expecting somewhat of a "roach motel," but ended up being pleasantly surprised as to how clean it was. The... more

I was in town for work but I snuck in a couple of days on the front & back end to enjoy Maui. On a budget, this hotel stuck out and I couldn't believe that the location is what it was chocked up to be. But I was pleasantly surprised. Yes, the room was tiny but it was ON THE... more

We spent one week in August 2006 and went back for another week in August 2007. Small but CLEAN rooms, great TEMPUR bed, nice Staff, great location. For a couple that just shower and sleep in the room it's very cheap. more

Let's be clear- this is not a hotel, at least not by my definition. All rooms are entered from the outside and are in one of four (maybe 5) small buildings that are connected by walkways. They do have one computer located where the front office is, and you get time on it the amount depending on whether or not... more

The location of this hotel is awesome. You can walk a few meters and you're right on the beach, in a very nice spot for snorkeling. You can also walk along the beach and find some other nice places for diving (all recommended in a dive / snorkel magazine I got there). It's also a couple of km of Wailea... more

As someone else has said, I was hesitant to write a review of this hotel, because I love this place so much I didn't want the "secret" to get out...but, I will review it anyway, since I believe it could deserves it. Yes, this hotel is small. Yes, the rooms are small. But, you're in Maui, you're not going to... more

Stayed for 1 week with my wife. Weather was unreal, calm 30s every day! Rooms were nothing special, small but clean and had a fridge to keep drinks etc. If your looking for a resort type of accomodations this is not the place. If your looking for a bed and plan to spend the majority of time at the beach,... more

Found myself on a quick one night stay in Maui on business. For one night and with all the rain, I wasnt' going to pay 469 for the Marriott (I normally stay at Marriotts). So, after checking all the reviews here on TripAdvisor, I called the hotel direct. Book direct and you can probably get a better deal. 99 buck... more

My husband and I stayed here Nov. 13-18. What a great location! We had the ocean view suite on the second floor. It was so nice to be able to sit on the lanai and view everything around you. Amazing sunsets and literally seconds from the beach. Great snorkeling too! The staff was nice and the smell of Sarentos (the... more

Made reservations through the 1-800 number and not directly with the hotel. My husband, myself, and a 15 year old son were travelling together so I needed a roll away bed. I requested the roll away and was told there was a $15 charge per night and was told if I requested it, it would be available. Intuition made me... more
