We came across this hotel because everything in the city was filled. The staff was okay. The pool was like taking a bath. It was probably so warm from all the unsupervised children in it. We travel to Wisconsin to see family a couple times a year and while in Eau Claire stay at The Plaza - We truely enjoy the time there. The pool is warm and the tables around the area make it a nice place to visit with family. We always get a room surronding the pool as it is very eaay... more

We drive through Eau Claire every year and the hotels there (and in all of northern WI and MN) are way over-priced. I stayed at the Plaza last week on a work-related trip and found the property to be clean, quiet and pleasant. The staff were eager to assist me with locating a specific shop that had been recommended to me as well as with directions to my business meeting. The Plaza has an excellent staff they were very friendly and helpful. Very clean and well maintained building and Pool area. Definately a must see !! more

My stay at the Plaza was very good. Check-in was a breeze, the front desk staff there were very pleasant. My room was very clean in the tower. The lounge was alot of fun too. Everyone at the Plaza was very kind, I will always stay at the Plaza when I go to E.C. again. Thanks Plaza! more
