Stayed here for Naval retirement ceremony 2-7-2007 to 2-14-2007. Have stayed in Virginia Beach before at Holiday Inn and Cavalier but for the price and comforts I would chose here again. We stayed in a 12th floor unit in July 2006. First the good news: The location is excellent: beautiful view, clean wide beach, not crowded. The much talked about tight garage and slow elevator are not a problem. Now the bad news: The units do not have a lot of space. I wouldn't recommend it for more than 2 people.... more

This place could use some updating, but it was o.k. We had a very nice view of the ocean, but our room was up on the top floor and it kind of made me ill to look down. We had lots of room though, and the desk staff was very nice. more
