By Hilton Garden Inn standards, I found this propety to be a little on the disappointing side. The lobby was very nice, but the cluttered front desk and exposed back office kind of took away from its appeal. Parking is certainly not one of the hotel's highlights, but it is free and once you park, you really do not have... more

Stayed for two weeks on business. Have stayed there before and also lived next door in the Town Center in the past. Walking distance to any food or nighlife that you might need, however, closest grocery is about a mile down the road. Reading some of the past reviews, it would seem that the bedding and linens have been updated,... more

This is a very nice business hotel - it is also very new, so there didn't appear to be many guests while we were there. We did notice that the restaurant has very limited hours - it is really open for breakfast - and only for business-persons' hours - it closes at 10am. Since we didn't have early-morning meetings, it... more

Was there for 1-week in October and another week in Nov for business trip. Very standard set-up for a Hilton Garden Inn. Small gym (only 4 machines) but the pool is well-lit and easily accessible. Needs to do better job with house-cleaning. Found used coffee in the coffee maker and also supplies are not restocked everyday. Also, the wireless internet... more

I have not had the pleasure of staying in Town Center before this weekend. We always pass the hotel and have wanted to stay there - so this past weekend we booked a last-minute reservation w/AAA and stayed in room 430. We live in Willoughby so we are not too far away to begin with, but we like to check... more

Wonderful hotel, great location, reasonable rates, peace & quiet, plenty of things to do! Wouldn’t stay at another hotel. This hotel is Virginia Beach’s best kept secret. The hotel is very quiet, as well as it’s surrounding area. It is 15 minutes or less from almost anywhere you want to go – beach, aquarium, zoo, movies, dining, gym, go-karts, jet... more

Well ,after reading some of the other reviews I was a bit hesitant to go to this hotel even after I had booked it. However, I did go with my family (husband and 5 year old), and we enjoyed it. It wasn't far from the beach, but far enough from all of the traffic. Everything was how it was described.... more

This is a fairly new hotel located in the Pembroke area of Virginia Beach, recently rechristened Town Center. Town Center has all kinds of nice shops and restaurants, including a nearby Cheesecake Factory. Across the street is an I-Hop that was there when I was growing up in the 60s... a bit of fun nostalgia. The room was very comfortable... more

My wife and I stayed here while in town for the Easter weekend. We arrived very late the first night of our stay and was greeted by a very unfriendly desk clerk. We got to our room which was a non-smoking room right next door to a smoking room. All night we kept smelling cigarette smoke. Woke in the morning... more

My husband and I chose to stay at the Hilton Garden Inn at the Virginia Beach town center to celebrate our 13th wedding anniversary. We were staying only one night, just to have a evening away from our 2 young children. Primarily the location was chosen for close proximity to the restaurant we had chosen for dinner. We were told... more
