This place is a dump and they know it. They are capitalizing on the location to the airport, but I'd sleep in my rental car next time before staying here again. Booked this location via Priceline for a great rate. With taxes and fees total was just under $85 for a two night stay! Room was clean and comfortable. The Hampton Inn Dulles North has outside doors, and unremarkable accomodations: the guest rooms reminded me of a Motel 6. The location is good, very close to Washington-Dulles (IAD) - go out the back way from the rental car lots on Autopilot Drive. Even so close to the airport, no airport noise was noticeable. Stayed there for 2 nights in May 2005. This hotel is marked as "2 star", but it's definitely better than most of the "3 star" I stayed in. Everything is just great: clean, comfortable rooms, friendly staff, convenient location. Free breakfast, newspapers and everything you could need in your room for only $79! Gonna stay there again. Disagree with previous reviewer. Stayed here in Nov 04 on a business overnight and was impressed - room and bathroom were clean as a button, free internet... fine, it's motel-style with exterior corridors but if you don't mind that, this is an excellent budget choice. more

This Hampton Inn is an older property and best described as a motel (doors / parking are exterior, etc.) It is reasonably clean considering its age, but hasn't held up well over the years.
