After staying a week in Albuquerque for a wedding, we needed a place to sleep for 1 night on our return trip to Louisiana. What a lovely surprise we found in of all places, Vernon, TX. Since Vernon is a very small town, we didn't expect our hotel to be anything write home about. The Holiday Inn Express was a wonderful surprise. The rooms are large, new, clean and comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was better than we've had at most other hotels. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Highly recommended! more
