OH MY GOSH! NEVER STAY HERE!!! This is the only review of any kind I have ever written in my life, but I had to write this. Save yourself a big headache and stay somewhere else. What a nightmare from start to finish. Place was simply awful. The least of my problems was how they overcharged us. I reserved the... more

I booked this hotel on cheap tickets.com. When we arrived the surrounding area was not nice boarded up buildings razaor wire. We decided not to stay there tried to get our money back from hotel, they said we needed to get it back from cheap tickets, called cheap tickets they said we needed to get it back from hotel. Now... more

After I negotiated with Priceline for a $50 a night stay, I was a bit apprehensive after I checked the reviews for this hotel on the internet. However, all I can say is some people must be looking for a five star hotel for a one star price. The staff was excellent- it took me less than 5 minutes to... more

I negotiated a lower price than the Main website offered because Hotels.com offered a lower rate. The room was alright but I almost scalded myself in the shower. The water temperature was extremely hot. There was some mold on the ceiling in the bathroom. The "Free Internet" in the lobby was not working , which caused me quite an inconvinience.... more

I stayed Friday night, Jan 18, 2008 for business. The room seemed okay at first, but the blanket was in dire need of laundering. It was very unappealing. The restaurant is closed except for breakfast. That was only good thing: free morning breakfast - the eggs were great. In speaking to my colleagues who also stayed there, some rooms are... more

I had the severe misfortune of staying at the Quality Inn in Tyler for a seminar. Check inn went OK, that's about all I can say nice about this place. The entire property smells of WD 40 and mildew. The ice machines and vending machines were almost all out of service. The restaurant and lounge are closed, my room was... more

The Quality Inn Tyler is a clean, friendly, reasonably well-located property. Rates are substantially less than that of competition (Ramada and Holiday Inn Select are a bit better location-wise, but are similar in age and condition - also between $20 & $60/night more) and the rooms are roughly the same. Rooms have microwaves, fridges, coffeemakers, irons, etc. The furnishings are... more

I booked my room via Hotels.com and specified a non-smoking room. When I arrived, I was given a smoking room. The front desk took my call and promised to check with the manager and get back. No call came so I went downstairs to the front desk to find the reservationist engaged in a personal chat. When I asked as... more

We were celebrating my daughter's 14th birthday by taking her and her best friend to Canton and the Tyler Zoo. She wanted to stay a hotel so we could swim in addition to the shopping and zoo adventure. I chose this hotel because of it's great location - right off Highway 69 and the Loop. That is the best thing... more

The motel was okay (get to that later) but the parking was a NIGHTMARE. Got there on a friday evening/late afternoon and left to get some things done and when I came back, was only one spot left. There was some parking in the back of this motel but most people didn't want to do that because it didn't seem... more
