Stayed 8.16.08- Hotel was ok but will not stay there again. It will do for $90/night but wan't my usual style hotel choice. The lobby could use some repair, the front desk staff not the most professional around, and the room was ok for the price. 2 beds, bathroom, and sofa area which I would not use b/c not very... more

Arrived in Harlingen by more luck than judgement. Had a quick look at a number of the hotels (Holiday Inn, Marriott & Ramada) and not overly impressed. Came across Best Western. It was excellent. Not only cheap ($89), but spotless, spacious suite type room and good pool area. Free continental breakfast, broadband and good service topped it all. Harlingen itself... more
