My partner and I recieved an email coupon for the weekend of 3/1. We had stayed at the hotel before and really liked it. We stayed Saturday night. The suite we got was fantanstic, especially for the great rate we recieved. We went to the free beer and wine happy hour, which was fun like the time before. We are all for... more

I stayed here for a business conference and it was wonderful! It's in the heart of downtown Dallas, although I didn't get a chance to get out and explore the area, I do know that it's right down the street from the Neiman Marcus flagship store. My room was on the 22nd floor, and was amazingly appointed, with 2 queen beds... more

I stayed at the Magnolia two years ago and wasn't very impressed by the service, but this trip was forced to stay there due to no vacancies in the other convention hotels. The room was dirty especially the bathroom. The valet takes an hour to get your car. They have a "cookie hour" but ran out of cookies after ten... more

Thank you for your feedback. We are disappointed to hear that your stay was less than stellar. We pride ourselves in amazing guest service and fabulous hotels that are full of comfort, personality and style. The cookies and milk is a Magnolia signature item, and we regret if the demand was too high that it may have taken a little...

This hotel is in the heart of Dallas. It definitely has a lot of charm. We went for a weekend getaway, and it was great to actually see the place. The hotel architecture and structure is truly inspiring, but the decor is a little HD Expo. But it had coiffered ceilings, the Pegasus, and 5 working elevators from 1901. The... more

We originally booked this hotel for our Valentines weekend getaway in 2007. We purchased their "Magical Package" which included fresh fruit and champagne in our room (which was a beautiful suite), his and her robes, a CD of romatic songs, cookies and mild delivered to our room before bedtime and a fresh cook to order breakfast delivered to our room... more

I booked the Magnolia while attending a conference at a nearby hotel, but wanted to stay somewhere aside from the conference for a little more relaxation. The service at the Magnolia Dallas was the best I've ever received - we were always greeted pleasantly every time we left or entered the hotel. We were on a first name basis with... more

We were assigned a tiny room with stained carpet. Was afraid to walk around without shoes. The view was of the adjacent wall. There were children running wild all around the bar. This was the night prior to Christmas parade. Web site pictures do not properly show how tiny the non suite rooms are. would not recommend this to anyone. more

Thanks for your feedback. We are in the process of replacing the carpet in all of the rooms, and many have already been upgraded. We regret that your carpet was unsatisfactory. We take great pride in the cleanliness of our rooms, and know that our housekeeping staff always excels at creating a clean and well-presented guest room. Additionally, as we...

I stayed here 3 nights in September and had a front facing room. The location was superb for visiting the art museum, the 6th floor museum and only a couple of blocks from Akard DART station to travel further afield. My room was generously sized, spotlessly clean and had a spacious and modern styled bathroom. I had read the reviews... more

My husband and I stayed at the Magnolia last week for two nights while in Dallas for an awards presentation. We checked in early and were given a room with 2 double beds - the room was not booked by us and we would have preferred a king bed. We then noticed a humming noise coming from the air conditioner... more

I was in town for a couple of days and wanted to stay downtown. I chose the Magnolia Hotel. I was impressed with the hotel overall. It is an old historic building with lots of charm and has been renovated recently. The beds are comfortable and plush. The milk and cookies in the evening was a nice touch. Only thing... more
