This is was the first time we had stayed at a Kimpton hotel and we will def. go back! The hotel was very modern and stylish. We stayed in their Double Premier Room with 2 Double Beds. At first glance, you wouldn't think my 78 year old mother would like Lumen....it's modern and, for Texas, edgy. But they accept pets, and for FREE! I would not stay at this hotel again. I was in Dallas on business and looking for a hotel between the Galleria area and downtown. The location is good. But, the walls are paper thin. I could hear everything in the rooms next door to me- phone conversations, bathroom, etc.. You can hear every door shut even down the hall.... more
