The Peabody is a great doorway to the South. The hotel is spotless and the service is excellent and friendly. We stayed here on two different occasions in June of 2008. Room service was betther the first time than the second. Children and adults alike will delight in the ducks as they parade in and out of the lobby. Do... more

We had the opportunity to stay at this hotel on our way home from driving cross-country. We'd all stayed at nice hotels before, but I don't think we were prepared for the level of hospitality we received at the Peabody. The lobby was impeccable, the rooms lush & comfortable (ours had a view!) and the location is unbeatable. We walked... more

I love everything about this hotel. To me, it feels like home. The lobby, the staff, the rooms, the location, the food & drinks... everything is perfect here. It is the picture of old southern hospitality. The ducks are cute, they are not why I stay at the Peabody. I stay here because it makes me happy, there is a... more

The peabody is rich with history. The food is great. The rooms are small but that is because of the age of the building. They keep the building well updated. THe duck parade is a must for anyone traveling through Memphis. I recommend a trip down Beale street, eating at the Beauty Shop and Automatic Slim's. You have to have... more

my husband and I just returned from a 3 night stay at the Memphis Peabody and enjoyed it immensely. The georgous lobby, lavish details, piano playing in the lobby, recalled the gracious charm and elegance of a bygone era. The twice-daily duck procession to and from that exquisite lobby fountain was too cute for words. Our spacious, comfortable room was... more

This is a great looking hotel. Overall there are a lot of positives e.g. room quality good, the location is ideal, the hotel is quite opulent etc. the negative is the total cost can be a little on the high side. All-in-all, probably the best place to enjoy Memphis. more

I recently stayed at the Peabody Hotel in Memphis. We did like the fact that it is very close to downtown, near Beale Street. The history of the hotel and the legend of the Peabody ducks is great. The Deli & Desserts restaurant in the hotel was wonderful. Great staff, good food & quick. I wish I could rave as... more

The Peabody's location was great for us, we could walk everywhere we needed to go, including Beale Street, the Fed Ex Forum and the Civil Rights Museum. Of course the ducks were enjoyable and the lobby was beautiful. Our room was nice and the beds were very comfortable. We were not terribly impressed with the breakfast buffet, but the desserts... more

spent four nights in the peabody. Room was nice. Very large with sitting area and walk in closet but the bathroom is tiny! there is nowhere to leave your toiletry bag in there, dressing room was right outside though. Air conditioning units outside were noisy though. hotel location is very good, its about a block from Beale Street which is... more
