Myself and my partner had a great nights stay. We had wonderful veiws and the atmosphere was very relaxing.Very friendly staff, who upgraded us to a family room, as our one wasn't ready. Breakfast was lovely, a great selection.Will definetely be returning. Will think twice about staying in traveloges/inns in future.Perfect place for all. Especially the romantic!! more

A companion and I were traveling through the Trossachs and were looking for a very quite place to spend an evening. The local office at Abberfoyle recommended Gartmore. This home has an interesting history - it was the childhood estate of the founder of the Scottish National Party. The house is a bit run down, and could benefit from restoration.... more

although not up there with the likes of a chain of hotels, this was so friendly and personal. The drive up to the hotel was amazing, long winding road and then the hotel set back in a beautiful landscape. The staff were so friendly and helpful, our room was massive with lovely views and even the weather held up. Gorgeous... more
