We spent three nights at the Lovat Arms in August 2008. Our room was spacious and clean with a huge bed and free broadband access. The bathroom was almost as large again and looked as if it had just been refitted. The food was excellent, both breakfast and evening meals in the bar and all staff were friendly and helpful.... more

Outstanding hotel - great rooms with space, terrific views and excellent quality facilities, equally matched by the most friendly and efficient staff; restaurant also worthy of highest praise - fillet steak like it used to taste, and breakfast haddock and kippers to die for!! more

We (me, wife, 7 yr old) stayed at Lovat Arms for 4 nights in July. Almost nothing that can be faulted - the rooms are brilliantly done and very spacious. We stayed at the Lovat for just one night and wished we could have stayed for longer. Our room was newly refurbished-clean modern furniture,flat screen TV's,luxurious bathroom and a comfortable bed. The restaurants were tastfully decorated,the staff were friendly and efficient and the food was outstanding. This must be one of the best places to stay in the UK more
