Almost a great place - but some problems. No hot water to put in the lovely big bath on arrival (and not so much for two showers next day either). Also old towels left in bathroom and could have been cleaner. No cups for tea and coffee and room needed hoovering. But perhaps we just hit a bad weekend. But... more

Stayed for 2 nights. Room was spacious with V comfy bed & private bathroom - long bath & great shower. Food was delicious both evenings plus excellent, friendly service. Breakfast freshly cooked to order at a time to suit us! Pub is ideally placed for exploring Dartmoor & nearby coast. Loads of walks & NT properties in the immediate vicinity. more
