I booked our room directly with the hotel. I booked a double queen room with refrigerator and microwave. On arrival they had lost our reservation, even with the confirmation number they were unable to find it. The clerk was not helpful at all, not even offering to see if they had any rooms available. We wound up staying there but... more

We were on vacation from our home in Tennessee on a fly/drive trip from Salt Lake City to Rapid City, SD. We stayed two nights at the Americinn. This was a good place to see the local sights (Badlands, Black Hills, Rushmore, Crazy Horse, SD Air/Space museum) and it was the least expensive hotel of our 9-night journey. The rooms... more

This is a great place to stay during Bike Week, or any time. We had the entire family with us and many other people switched hotels when they saw how great the place was. Front desk and Management went out of their way to make everyone happy and housekeeping staff was very friendly and helpful even with the crowded conditions.... more

We selected this motel because of price and location in the Black Hills region. We had had mixed results with Americinn in two other cities and weren't sure how this would work out. We were VERY impressed!! We have never had a friendlier group of motel workers anywhere. From the front desk folks, to the maids and maintenance people, everyone... more

Stayed in the Americinn on my first night in the USA before the start of a ranching holiday in Wyoming. What can I say the hotel staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms were more than adequate and the leisure factilitiues and breakfast were fab!! A bargain at the price. more

The hotel was quiet but the room smelled when I first got into it. I talked to the front desk about it the next morning and we figured it was condensation in the A/C unit as it had been really warm and then the temp cooled down and the A/C had not been used. We did get used to the... more

We stayed here when my husband was out-processing the Air Force from his stay in Korea, as well as for some site-seeing in the area. We really enjoyed this hotel! The room was pretty standard, nothing to really jump and shout about. However, they had our reservation perfect, we just wanted a king size bed and mini-fridge. There was also... more

Kudos to the management at Americinn, Rapid City, SD! Customer service from check-in, housekeeping, and breakfast was excellent. All the employees that I encountered were friendly, and helpful. Our housekeeping lady took the extra step and tidied the kids' room with arranging the stuffed animals differently every day. That sort of treatment reminded me of our stay at Disney World's... more
