I LOVE LOVE LOVE Pirateland. My husband and I bought our camper in July 07 because we wanted to start a family tradition with our 3 year old daughter. I decided to research campgrounds at the beach on-line and finally found this place. It is BY FAR the best campground on the beach for families. I can't speak for singles,... more

This was our first stay at PirateLand and even Myrtle Beach. We have camped many places around Ohio, and this was just a little different than what we were used to. The camping spots were very tight together. We arrived and almost could not even maneuver down the isles to get our camper into position. We had to ask two... more

We have been going to pirateland for several years now. We have never had any problems and have always had a great time. On Wednesday morning we woke up and noticed there was a policeman riding around we thougth that was very wierd because we had never seen any in there before. Several hours later we were making a trip... more

We keep our trailer stored at Pirateland just so we don't have to worry and they bring it to the site and pick it back up. We have been camping for about 16 years and have stay at other campgrounds, but this one is better by far. We started when our daughter was about 10 and now that she is... more

I think this is a place that familys with bad kids go so they can turn them loose. To many golf carts with kids driving them at all hours during the day and at night. Fireworks going off late at night hitting the roof of the camper. The sights are so close together you couldnt fit a greased bb between... more

The campground is nice, but the staff is not friendly. We have camped at this campground for years and have always felt it was a shame they did not provide better customer service. After several issues with this camping trip we will be looking for a new place to stay next year! more

We have always enjoyed Pirateland and try to go every year - most of the stay is great except a couple of recent changes -the hot tub is covered over - closed - this has been the case for the past year or so -it is one of the things we have really looked forward too - and now they... more

Over the years we have stayed at every single campground in Myrtle Beach and I gotta tell ya, Pirateland is 5 aces in my book! Now, let's get the negative out of the way first. There is nothing negative! One item I notice, however, and this goes for every campground and hotel on the beachfront in all of Myrtle Beach... more

Pirateland is one awesome campground. We have two teenage daughters and we all are entertained from the minute we arive till the time we have to leave for home. Our girls love cruising the strip on the golf carts, we never have to leave the campground, everything you need is right there. There are so many activities for the children,... more

We stay at Pirateland every year. Even my wife who has always camped all over the place and likes her variety insists on a trip to Pirateland at least once a year. The staff they have is really top notch and is very thoughtful. I proposed one yea to my wife there and I mentioned it to the staff at... more
