Camelot By The Sea is a fantastic oceanfront experience! The room was clean, the view was "AWESOME", the staff was extremely helpful and wonderful to work with! The hotel is in the heart of Myrtle Beach, and has all the amenities anyone could need. Driving to area attractions was easy and fun! I'd recommend this hotel to seniors, families or... more

When booking this hotel we were asked what floor we preferred, so we asked to be below the fifth floor. I called when we were about 2 hours away to confim again and was told everything was fine. When we arrived therre was a line of about 8 people checking in with only 2 attendants, this took over an hour.... more

I stayed at the Camelot July 14 - 20 and my room was excellent. Besides a couple of small things, it was perfect. I don't know about what the previous person went thru, but I used the hot tub every day I was there and don't know anything about it being shut down because of broken glass. They had TWO... more

Me, my husband, and our 17 month old baby were suppose to stay for a whole week, after one night of staying we checked out the next day. We stayed Saturday night and what a terriable mess. It was loud, teenagers running around slamming doors and yelling. Rooms were alright, but for the price we paid we expexcted something better.... more

We just got back from a 12 day stay in South Carolina. Went down for the Showstopper national dance championships. I have to tell you, I had my reservations after reading some negative reviews here; but will be glad to tell you all that we had a great stay at this hotel. There was, in fact, quite a few of... more

The first night myself and my two children were awaken by banging on our door at 1:30 am by the Security Guard. He accused someone from our room for urinating off the balcony. We were asleep and was Falsely accused! Two nights later, we were accused of throwing a beer bottles off the balcony on the 17th floor. First of... more

I was invited to a 3 day vacation at the beach with my daughter and her husband and my two grand children. This was a big mistake. During June, this hotel caters to the Spring Break crowds. This is not a child friendly environment. The children's pool area is un-supervised and children are allowed to run ramped - diving in... more

The location is excellent and the outside pool and beach area are top notch. The rooms look fairly new and nice but the beds were very hard. I could not sleep the first night because the pillows were uncomfortable but I figure that was my fault for not bringing my own as I usually do. Everything was okay except for... more
