I stayed at Driftwood this past weekend. As I approached Driftwood all I noticed was individuals standing on the balcony of the hotel drinking and yelling at cars as they rode by the hotel. The yelling continued all night until I don't know. The rooms were okay. The bathroom was clean and updated, that's about it. The living room/kitchen could... more

My husband and I have been staying for over 5 yrs now and only stayed due to the fact that all our friends stayed because of the location. We pretty much stayed to sleep. The rooms were always smelly, the appliances are outdated, the doors use a regular key, the carpet was exposing the cracked concrete and the building rails... more

Members of our family have been going to The Driftwood for over 40 years. It is a great value with the greatest staff around, any thing you ask for they will try their best to do for you. However with the passage of the years some upgrades are needed. New room furnishings would be nice, internet service, new floor coverings ect. The Driftwood... more

I was actually surprised with this hotel. We stayed there one night and really didn't expect much by looking at the outside. But the room was not bad at all. Granted it wasn't anything fancy but it was right on the beach, a good size, had a ocean view, and the most important it was clean. Its location on Ocean... more

The view from our balcony was more than enough to warrent a drive from out of state. You can tell this... more

We do buget traveling extensively, but I have NEVER stayed in a place like this. We booked this hotel out of a travel coupon magazine and got a rate of $150 per night, non-refundable, we took it because we thought that during the week of July 4th all of the hotels would be full. I understood why it was non-refundable... more

We love the Driftwood - we have been going there for the last seven years in May and October for bike week and will not even consider looking for another place to stay as long as the Driftwood stays open which we hope will be for years to come. The people in the office are the best as is the... more
