I have stayed at this hotel a number of times because I find it to be a better experience and a better deal than other comparable nearby hotels. I travel here on business. The comfortable room, nicely decorated, new kitchenette, and comfortable beds are all great reasons to stay here. But what really sets this hotel apart is the awesome... more

My boyfriend and I stayed one night in April and absolutely loved it here! It's a short drive to downtown Newport and an easy drive for that matter! The hotel was very clean and we had a kitchen with a full size fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. It was great! We did utilize the indoor pool and Jacuzzi while we... more

Family of three with five year old stayed overnight on a 3rd floor, two-bedroom suite that was clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated with granite counters, stainless steel appliances, and honey stained hardwood furniture. Delicious hot breakfast buffet was served (6-10 am) by friendly, accommodating, and courteous staff. Concierge and cleaning staff were equally friendly and polite. Only $212 per night.... more

My wife and I stayed at the Residence Inn for Memorial Day weekend 2008 and we loved it! The hotel is very new, clean, and spacious. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful and the rooms were excellent. There is a free buffet breakfast every morning, which is better than most that you have to pay for. The hotel is... more

We recently returned from a trip to Newport and stayed at the Residence Inn in Middletown. The hotel was perfect! Only a very short and convenient drive to Newport and all of the sites. Extremely clean, in fact the cleanest hotel that we have probably ever stayed in. We had a one bedroom suite and were pleased to walk in... more

I recently stayed at the Residence Inn for 5 nights while attending a conference. There were 3 of us sharing a large 2 bedroom suite. The bedrooms were small but adequate and each had its own private bathroom. The main living space was spacious and nicely furnished with a sofabed and chair. The kitchen area was extremely nice and had... more

My fiance and I stayed one night at this Residence Inn while we were in town for a conference at the University of Rhode Island. This was about a 30 minute drive from the university, but it was an easy drive, and I believe there is only one other hotel that is significantly closer. The only bummer about the drive... more

My husband and I stayed at the Residence Inn for our anniversary in February. We were treated wonderfully upon check in and the room was incredible. It was as if we had our own condo for the night. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The pool area was clean and enjoyable. Breakfast was ok-more than bagels and toast yet... more

Our stay was for New Year's Eve, and it was the perfect location-literally right down the road from Newport (a 4 minute drive). The staff was extremely helpful and the room was clean, well appointed and well stocked. The room set-up was suite-style w/ no separating wall between the living area and the bedroom. The staff was very helpful and... more

Newport is a great destination for a short getaway. It’s conveniently small but large enough to have a number of good restaurants, lots of scenic vistas and plenty of things to see and do. Just three hours from New York by car and ninety minutes from Boston, this small city offers such attractions as the famous mansions, the Cliffwalk, Ocean... more
