We stayed here for two nights during a college visit road trip. What a nice surprise! Comfortable and spacious room. TV, fridge, AND microwave. Super-clean bathroom. Good breakfast variety. Close to Penn State, good restaurants, shopping, and highway. Ask for Penn State Rate if you're visiting the campus -- a bargain! more

I am in State College frequently for business. Over the years I have attended various conferences at numerous area hotels, however, I almost always choose to stay at the Comfort Suites and commute to the conference - especially when the conference is held at the over-rated and worn Nittany Lion Inn (I have a conference scheduled there in March 2008... more

My daughter (16) and I stayed for our visit to Penn State. The location is pretty good. The hotel sits off a main road about five minutes to the school. There's a Friday's a short stroll from the hotel. Up the road is a Waffle place, Wendy's, McDonalds. The free continental breakfast was horrible! Eat breakfast elsewhere. The staff was... more

We recently spent 2 nights here while looking at Penn State. We had a wonderful stay. The location is perfect. It is centrally located to many stores, restaurants, and to Penn State. The room was large with 2 queen beds and a pull out sofa. There is a mini refrig. and microwave. The maid left popcorn for my children. Most... more

Stayed for3 nights to visit the Arts Festival. Close to campus, friendly staff, clean rooms, nice beds, quiet. Better than average breakfast--my kids loved it. Will stay again next year. more

I stayed here one night using my points (read free) and found the Comfort Suites to be clean, safe, and comfortable. When checking in I had no issues even though my night was free. They did not even ask for a credit card. I thought I might be treated poorly as this was a free night, but I was treated... more

I stayed at the Comfort Suites back in November 2004 and need to apologize for not posting a review earlier. Hopefully this hotel is just as nice as it was when I visited. The rooms were large and clean. There is an indoor heated pool as well as a hot tub. Both are nice. In the morning there is a... more

This hotel was slightly above average, although decent as compared to other hotels in a similar price/quality category. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean but not as spic-and-span as I might expect in a higher priced hotel. The breakfast area was well-organized and actively re-stocked. The pool itself was clean but the area around... more

Stayed here for two nights on business. Very impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel. Breakfast in the AM was great and there was plenty of it. We shared the hotel with several high school wrestling teams and there was never a problem with getting fed. Staff is courteous and responsive to problems. Would definately stay here again. more

I came to visit my son who is starting his first year of graduate study at Penn State. The first night I stayed at the Ramda Inn and it was awful - don't go there. In the morning, I drove down the street and found the Comfort Inn. What a great experience. The room was very clean and safe. The... more
