Who are these people that wrote the bad review? You sign up for the murder/mystery weekend and it is all inclusive for the dinner. The table is set, the dinner cooked for a certain amount of people playing the game. It is not that hard to figure out people! READ THE BROCHURE!!! Don't have to be humiliated, you made a... more

We were a little apprehensive when we first booked the murder mystery weekend. My husband is shy and was very hesitant in receiving a part. The other couples that were there were great and we ended up having a great time. The mansion is beautifull and it was really neat to stay there. Bob handled the mystery and did a... more

We went to the mansion this weekend for my friends birthday. We had a great time, food was good. There were a lot of great people staying at the mansion, this really helps to have a good group of people to make the mystery fun. The mystery was good, kind of hard to figure out...but well worth the stay. The... more

We checked in @ 5:00 pm. Bob was there to greet us. Made us feel very welcome. The mansion was very clean & the decor was beautiful. Bob told us the name of a Great place to eat dinner. If I was rating the physical appearance of the mansion it would be easy---a five. Our room in the mansion was vast and well decorated. Loved the original decor. The porch was gorgeous. The food was average. I have had much better breakfasts at other inns in PA and around the country. Quiche was bought and served in a tin... more

My husband and I spent this past weekend at Harry Packer Mansion for Mystery Weekend with two other couples celebrating my friend's 40th birthday. I had not read the reviews on this site before going, but while googling some background information after we got home, I ran across this page. I was surprised by the strong negativity of many of... more

Here's a tip to those who are planning to stay at the Harry Packer Mansion: Participate in the murder mystery or apparently you do not get to eat. My husband and I had a humilating experience when we tried to join the 7:30 dinner. We were told that we were not welcome at the dinner because we had chosen not... more

We have called these guests several times and left messages to try and work thru this problem but they have not responded. They gave it as a gift to their parents but when the mother called she did not like the fact that there is no smoking in the guest rooms only on the veranda so she choose not to...

We stayed at the mansion on the weekend of July27-July29, 2007 and we had an amazing time. Bob & Pat along with their son were very down to earth good people. Bob told great stories of the history of the town. If you have a chance when you stay at the mansion, make sure to find Bob at one of... more

Third Stay!!!!! This time we brought family to enjoy the murder mystery weekend. Everything was wonderful as usual. The down time to enjoy the town gave us just enough family time. We can't wait to return! more
