I stayed here for 3 nights for work. It fit the bill for a budget hotel, but left something to be desired. As is with most of the reviews on this site, my room smelled musty too. It was a very odd smell that I couldn't pin point. The cable TV only worked about half the time, and the desk... more

Our family stayed here when we visited Sesame Place. It is not the cleanest. There was a big hole in the wall by the bed. Also the carpet was unraveling everywhere. Molding was coming off the wall. Also, profanity was written on the pull-out futon. It doesn't seem like the hotel has too much concern for the comfort of their... more

Well for what you pay for it is worth it. We payed about 89 dollars a night when we went down in early winter and spring. When we tried to go back down for a summer stay the rate went up to 120 a night which was a little disappointing becasue it is a nice hotel. Me and a friend... more

I wish I had checked with the trip adviser before I booked this room. We had just come from a Comfort Inn by Hershey Park and wanted to go to Sesame Place so they (Choice Hotels) got us a room here. The first room was musty so they moved us to another room on another floor and on the way... more

The rooms have new rugs and bedding. I liked my stay and it was quiet and comfortable. Rooms are clean and staff friendly for the most part. Great price and I will go back if I am in the area again more

There is a musty aroma to the hotel, and it is outdated, however is a value for the $50 dollars. The roooms are clean, and they offer amenities such as the gym and breakfast. The receptionist was nice. At the time of check in there were several man working in the hallways who did not speak english. Overall it was... more

We stayed 2 nights. The first night, although I had specifically requested a FIRM bed, our bed was very soft and sagging in the middle. Unfortunately, we didn't discover this until we were undressed and exhausted. I complained the next morning, and for the second night they moved us to a different room. Bed STILL soft, but at least it... more

The only positive thing about my stay in this hotel was the fact that I only needed a hotel for 1 night. I can't imagine how this hotel can get any stars with the conditions offered. Room - horrible musty smell that became less intense somewhat after having a window open for a whole day. The furniture was very worn... more

We stayed at this hotel with our young daughter during a trip to Sesame Place. The hotel was a good value for our budget. Although I found our room to be "worn," it was relatively clean and a good place to sleep for the two nights we were in town. It was a short (10 mile) drive to Sesame, which... more

If you need a basic place to stay in the area, the McIntosh Inn is a good value. Calling the hotel directly resulted in a better rate ($55 for a queen double) than using on-line discount bookers. Room was clean and everything was functional; good showerhead and pressure. Heater's fan cycle was loud, but otherwise hotel was quiet. It is... more
