I had to stay one week in Eugene due to hospital tests. After 4 days in other hotels (not happy) I saw the Downtown Motel as I was getting gas across the street. The gas operator said it was the original Eugene Motel back in the 50's and his mom worked as a maid there when he was a kid.... more
