my fiance and i deceided to stay in downtown toledo last month because we were going to the bars that are located there. We deceided on the former Ramada (it is now called the Hotel Seagate). When we arrived we found out that it is currently undergoing remodeling. It has a great location, and our stay was comfortable and quiet.... more
After our honeymoon, we made a layover in my hometown (Toledo) to visit my family that couldn't make the trip to SLC, UT. Never having stayed in a hotel in my hometown, I figgured a Ramada on the river should be nice . . . I have never been more wrong in my life. It started out bad and got... more
Although we never stayed at the Hotel, we did pop in for breakfast with a friend who was staying there. We arrived around 8.30am and took the lift to the all-night restaurant on the 19th floor. The hotel is very run down, management is only trying to make a quick buck, they could care less about any customer service. The coffee condiment packet in... more
We stayed at the Ramada Inn & Suites, Toledo, for one horrible night on Wednesday, May 29, 2002. Although the price was quite reasonable for a full-service hotel in a mid-size US city (in the $60 - $70 range, before tax), the hotel was absolutely awful. We're pretty well-traveled (been all over the US and several European countries, the Caribbean,... more
