Just returned from 3 nights in the Pencil Pine cabin at Cradle Mountain Lodge and everything was perfect. Accommodation is excellent, staff are friendly and helpful, location is perfect (beautiful and it had snowed the week before making it even more magical). We booked a 3 night package directly with voyages that was supposed to include an upgrade. Unfortunately upon arrival we were told that the next room type was fully booked and we'd have to make do with a pencil pine cabin. Great resort by Voyages! However stayed at Wilderness village the night before and is much cheaper and luxurious for the price! Recommend the Chateau also for spa treatments.. a bigger variety and more reasonable prices than the lodge. Advantage of 2 restaurants at the lodge..but still only 5 mins driving distance from village if travel is the concern. Great turn... more
