Stayed at the Bell again and we have been regularly for 12 years. Staff, particularly the manager and the owners great. Breakfasts to die for. Only minor fault is room 2 is very small and the shower room could do with a little TLC. Perhaps it is next on their list for doing? more

This gem has it all! The Bell Inn is just across the river from Southwold. A ferryman rows you across the river. Fresh fish is for sale in huts near the fishing boat moorings. The Bell is very well managed. Our room was delightful and well equipped.The ale and food were good, as you would expect for an Adnams pub. more
