I ended up at this hotel after booking for two people (my wife and myself) thru Hotwire. We were put in a very small room (#402) with just one double bed. I'm 6'-3" and 250 lbs, and although my wife is tiny we knew we would be very uncomfortable in a bed that small. When I asked about getting a... more
Dear Guest, I reviewed your comments regarding your stay with us at the Doubletree Columbus Worthington. We do take all comments seriously and appreciate all the feedback we can get. I do apologize that you were not pleased with the room size, noise. As a management team, we take all comments seriously and share them with our staff, so we...
Driving up to the property, I thought this was going to be a very bad experience. Building looks terribly outdated but after stepping inside, the lobby was decent and the rooms were very nicely furnished and spacious. The hotel bar was active in the evening and service was good. Good business hotel, especially for just over $100 a night ---... more
Dear Guest, We read your review and are very happy to know you enjoyed your time at the Doubletree Columbus Worthington Hotel and we hope to see you again very soon for your next stay in Columbus Ohio! Sincerely, Hotel Management
Stayed here on Easter weekend, so wasn't crowded at all. Also booked it for the pet-friendly status so we could bring our golden retriever. (Then, I found out that the Sheraton Suites next door also allows pets! Next time we will be trying that.) Unfortunately, they put us right by the elevator, so heard the elevator coming up and down... more
This was the second time that I had stayed at this particular location. Last year, they were going through major renovations so I will forgive them for that. This year, I expected it to be fantastic. Boy, was I ever wrong. My original reservation was for 2 days and I needed to add another day. I called the hotel directly,... more
Check in went smoothly and we were pleased with the room...nothing spectacular but plenty of room and the bed was very comfortable so we had a good night's sleep in a clean room and that's what counts. The warm chocolate cookes are a nice touch. We booked via hotels.com and it wasn't the greatest price but found out there was... more
I stayed at this hotel on 12/27/07. I had a small dog with me, which was one reason I chose this hotel - they accept pets. The bad news is that they charge $50 for the privilege. The hotel has a very nice, very large lobby - unfortunately the room was small and cramped. Barely room to walk between the... more
Stayed at the Doubletree for a trade show being held at the hotel. Paid convention rate of $109. Room was above average with free internet service. In-room coffee maker had Wolfgang Puck coffee which was very, very good. Lots of restaurants within walking distance of hotel. One thing nice about Doubletree is the warm chocolate chip cookie you get when... more
I also pricelined the hotel for about $55. I was afraid I would end up in a tiny room, especially since it was the Friday night before a home OSU game. I got a king bed in a non-smoking room. The people at check in were nice, and the rest of the staff was friendly. I ordered room service and... more
I just wanted to let you guys know what happened to me this past weekend. I picked up a couple nights stay at the new Doubletree for $52 using Priceline; I was hoping for Sheraton Suites, but the Doubletree was just fine, since we had a pleasant stay there a few months back and booked with PL then too. no... more
