The Green Farm hotel is a nice hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room we stayed in was very large, with a brand new bathroom. We ate in the bar one night, food was good. Bar atmosphere was nice and relaxed. Breakfast is cooked to order and very tasty. Would recommend! Thorpe Market itself is a tiny village,... more

We booked this hotel some weeks in advance for a break away. Had we read the reviews before we booked we would never have done so and that would have been a shame as we had a good few days away. We did read them the night before we drove up there and were somewhat apprehensive as to what we... more

Contrary to some of the other reviews on this site, I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. I am quite well travelled and I have VERY high standards and I was really happy at the Green Farm. Its possible to view all the rooms on the hotel website and I chose the Hamilton because I liked the decor.... more

The management of Green Farm made us feel as if they were doing us a favour letting us stay, rather than treating us as a guest. Victory Room, in the main building, is right on the main road and there is a lot of noise disturbance. The shower pressure was a dribble, and it ran hot and cold at random.... more

During 2007 We have sold 9500 Guest Nights at Green Farm, there will always be guests who do not like what we do but with a 60% return rate many Obviously do. We accept the comment about the poor shower in victory this has now been replaced with a trevi boost shower unit which gives much better Pressure.and send our sinerset...

We checked in and 30 minutes later we checked out again. Our room in the main building was dreary, dusty and generally required updating. However, the worst points were the noise of the kitchen directly below and the ladies toilet next to the room. Additionally, the door to the ensuite (admittedly in character with the building) did not shut, lock... more

We stayed at Green Farm Hotel on Saturday 12 May 2007 The room was grossly overpriced - reasonably comfortable but appearing to be a throwback from the 70's - everything apart from the price, seemed rather cheap and tacky and lacking in style. The hotel and its surrounding grounds needed a serious upgrading and the main building needed to be... more

Found this review site after returning from our visit, so thought we'd share our opinion with you... we stayed in a superior room - the Sheringham - which is situated in the detached barn at the rear of the complex. Don't think anyone else was in the barn, despite being Easter holiday season. A lovely airy room with large Velux... more

I was taken away for a suprise weekend by my husband for my wedding anniversary. On arrival the hotel looked oldy world but that was the only charm this hotel had. We stayed in the annexe the room smelt musty and damp, flowers were a couple in a bottle! fudge was old looking and the bathroom was cheap and bare.... more

for 25 years we have provided our guests with a small posy of fresh flowers we do not offer or claim to provide a Bouquet. The great Majority of our guests tell us how much they appreciate this gesture. we will be upgrading to proper posy vases!! In relation to the fudge we provide, our greatest problem is finding time...
