Had a great stay at this hotel, check-in was fast with a lovely warm chocolate chip cookie as a welcome treat, room was spacious and very clean. The decor of the room was a big surprise, tasteful warm colours, upgraded fixtures and a very well stocked and spotless bathroom. Our view was the streetscape but the windows were huge and... more

We stayed (family of four in a double room) for a weekend event for a family friend. Usually we'd stay in a Marriott Courtyard for that type of thing. No more, if this is what I can expect from the Hilton chain at the value level, they've got my business. What I liked was that it didn't feel like a... more

We stayed at the Doubletree for two nights while visiting family in the Rochester area. The hotel was very crowded and loud when we arrived at around midnight due to some weddings that were concluding, but we the rear entrances make parking and getting to your room much easier. The kids loved the atrium with the glass elevators however I... more

I've stayed here twice in the past couple of months for a week at a time, so have gotten to see pretty much every aspect of this hotel. It used to be a Holiday Inn up to a couple of years ago when it became the DoubleTree, and it has been remodeled since then. They've done a good job with... more

The most important thing I have to say is, because of the great pool area and other activities, families with children LOVE to stay here. Also, it seems like a lot of large groups of parents and children stay here occasionally, so at times it may be overrun with children (it was for 1 night of my 3 night stay).... more

Everything was great. Hotel is great, restaurant is great, business center is great, pool is great (but not private as everyone can look over the balcony and see the pool), gym is small but good, staff is in typical Hilton/DoubleTree style, rooms are a good size and amenities are great too. I always stay here for Henrietta based business activities.... more

I'm a Hilton Honors member, and a seasoned traveler. I must say my stay was disappointing in many ways. At check-in they gave me a warm cookie, as most Double Tree Hotels do, however it was hard as a rock. I'm sure that thing had been in that little oven for days. Once we got to our room on the... more

This is an old Holidome whose franchised changed to DoubleTree and then went through major, major renovations (bathroom/bedroom/furniture and Common Areas, exterior) a year ago. I've stayed here before the renovations and just after. The transformation is incredible. I am submitting this review in that it has been a year since my last visit to the remodeled hotel and they continue... more

The Doubletree hotel is a fairly high quality hotel, but we've been unhappy with our recent stays at the one in Rochester, NY. The first time we stayed, there was a hockey tournament in the area and the hotel was hosting the teams. We weren't informed of this until we had registered. The whole place was over-run with young kids.... more
