We stopped here on our way back from Vermont. It was 1am and we were too tired to drive any longer, and the other hotels we stopped at had no vacancies. This place is a DUMP! Had reservations for 4 nights but left. Bugs were found in the bed, the floor was dirty, underwear from previous guest was found in the room! This hotel smells bad, it is not clean. We were supposed to stay all the week-end while we were playing in a basketball tournament, but we decided to leave after one night. The health of our player was our first concern. Of course, a refund was out of question.. If you have to sleep there, sleep in your car. more

Found this place by accident when we stopped for gas. Apparently, lodging along the thruway is scarce on the weekends and we were lucky to get a room. Terrible Motel, If you love bedbug you should go for it, I had really bad experience in this Motel. Rooms are exteremely stinking. I would like to advise future visitors please avoid this Motel.............. more

We checked into the Red Carpet Inn on Sat 8/26/07. The manager told us that Expedia had made a mistake on the rate $65/night, that he gets $85/night normally..not sure how you can charge ANYTHING for accomodations as shabby as these. We booked 2 rooms this past weekend at the Red Carpet Inn Phelps. We were touring Seneca Lake wineries and this was the only spot available for the weekend near the town of Geneva, NY.
