The Good - Warm Cookies, Free Internet, nice concierge (but we only met him when we were checking out) and nice bedding. The Bad - Front Desk Staff, lack of security presence (too easily to walk in and get on elevator), rooms need updating The Ugly - Upon returning from visiting friends for about 7 hours, we found door left... more

We had to stay at this hotel for 1 night in July, since we had lost the connection with a flight for SF and it hadn't been our fault, so AA had to pay for our compulsory night stay in NY and sent us there. What a horrible nightmare! The men at the reception was quite unhelpful and rude. When... more

In stark contrast to our experience at the Doubletree in Times Square, the Doubletree at JFK was a nightmare! Like many others, we chose to stay at an airport hotel the night before a very early flight to London. Firstly there was no-one available to help with luggage and check-in took forever. Very inefficient reception or perhaps just exhausted. Room... more

The pro's are the cookie at check in, the free parking, the shuttle to and from JFK, and the bedding is delicious....it reminds me of the kind on carnival. The room was clean, and they have Wolfgang Puck's coffee, and a flat screen television. The con's are that it takes like 70 minutes to get to midtown Manhatten. I got... more

We looked for a hotel to stay in before our 0730 flight back to the UK and I had reserved a room at the Hilton Garden Court, as the comments on Trip Advisor seemed to show that this was a better hotel. When we arrived at the Hilton, I had made a mistake with the dates, and we should have... more

This was a quick over night to catch a flight early the next morning. The room was surprisingly nice, soft comfortable beds, the room is somewhat small though. A nice perk was the warm cookie at check in, but that was the end of good eats. They claim to have a great restaurant and bar, well the food was similar... more

The worst hotel I have stayed at. The room was dirty the service was awful and the shuttle service going and coming to the airport was the worst of it all. The bus driver was rude, unfriendly and prejudice. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. more

i work for a airline and i have stayed in this hotel many times, i have found the hotel and crew of this hotel, very polite and helpful, you may have people to say bad things but this is the deal, you have a great hotel and very busy, when you travle and want everything right then is when things... more

I was very nervous when I read the reviews at TripAdvisor, as I had already booked my stay and ordered items to be delivered to the Doubletree which were already in transit. In other words, I was horrified on the reportedly lousy experiences faced by fellow travelers in this hotel and I was going to have to stay in it,... more

I stay at this hotel alot for business and that is not a good thing. The staff at the front desk is worthless. Not only are they rude but they are unwilling or incapable of accomdating any request. When calling from the airport to get the shuttle late in the evening they do not answer the telephone. The last two... more
