We attending a wedding there and live very close but thought it would be nice to stay and not worry about driving. Well we got a room on the 3rd floor of the main building and the room had big issues. The air conditioner was way too small on a very hot day. But the bad part was the room... more

We had our wedding at LeChambord in October 2006 and everything was absolutely wonderful. We had the cocktail hour outside in the pavilion, and since it was a little coooler in the afternoon, the staff took the initiative to put heat lamps in the pavilion so the guests would have some extra warmth. The hors derves were awesome - I... more

I stayed at Le Chambord during a work trip and cannot think of a single nice thing to say about my visit. Mine was the only car in the lot and now I know why. First, the entire place is run-down. The outside of the building hasn't been maintained - the leaves and other debris that have fallen this autumn... more

We really enjoyed our visit to Le Chambord. My husband and I stayed 2 nights and attended both the rehearsal dinner and our friend's wedding. The food was delicious, the service friendly and competent, and the owner Roy kept a watchful eye during the entire weekend. Our room and bathroom were very clean - the only complaint was that the... more

I went here for a wedding during the winter and although it was beautiful outside the service and conditions inside were awful. First, it was freezing inside! The servers and owner were told several times it was cold and we needed heat but the heat never went on. The owner kept saying he turned it up but everyone was still... more

A disapointment to say the least. The place needs a deep cleaning and paint. . The staff was friendly but couldn't make up for owner's less than charming attitude. We attended a wedding reception here and stayed two nights. We were from out of town so we were pretty much hostages. As for the breakfast- it consisted of some deli... more

I take particular note of the first review of this hotel (Only car in the lot—Glenham, NY, 1/8/06) and bring it to your attention, because just last night (7/10/06) my pregnant wife and I stayed in the exact same room that is the subject of the review (#23) and I concur with the thrust of the review as most of... more

My fiance' and I were seeking a place to spend the two nights following our wedding and reception and as there are very few selections in the area we stopped by one afternoon about a month prior to the wedding to inquire about a room for our two nights. The owner, Roy, promised us a lovely honeymoon suite with a... more

After reading some of the reviews on here after booking a long weekend at this hotel I was terrified that my boyfriend and I were in for an awful stay at this place. When we got there we were both pleasantly surprised! The staff was friendly, the rooms were clean & quite large (large bathroom as well), the air conditioning... more
