This is a typical Marriott Courtyard property. The hotel is located at the end of a shopping center. The shopping center has a PetSmart, David's Bridal, a Coldstone-like creamery, a mexican restaurant, and a Starbucks. A minerature golf course is located behind the hotel. Besides Taco Bell and Wendy's, there aren't many other dining options within walking distance of the... more

We picked this hotel after a late arrival in Reno to get some rest before driving to Tahoe. It is pretty close to the airport and on the way to Tahoe. It's also close to several common restaurants and coffee shops (walking distance). The hotel appeared new, and the attendant at the desk was very kind. However, our first room... more

I used this hotel as a stop over on the way to Salt Lake City. Room was a good size and quiet. Everything was spotlessly and smelled clean - couldn't find a single fault with the room! The breakfast was great! Staff very friendly. more

We read the reviews for this Courtyard on TripAdvisor and decided it sounded like a nice place to stay. We were in Reno for sort of a family reunion. We stayed at the Peppermill the first night because other family members were staying there...What a mistake. We were so happy to get to the Reno Courtyard. I am happy to... more

Across the street from a Target, several eating places within walking distance and a new massage place is opening right next door. The hotel was very clean, well furnished, and comfortable. Several great places to run / walk on the other side of South Virginia (there is a trail behind Target). The only place to stay in Reno. Two thumbs... more

I recently attended a conference in Reno and had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. It is located only a short distance from the Reno-Sparks Convention Center where the conference was taking place. It is also very close to the airport (5 minutes up Route 395). The hotel itself was new and in good shape. The room was very... more

We wanted a nice motel away from the casinos on our way back to California. Unluckily because of a soccer tournament being in town we had to book a place a few miles out of the way. This Marrriott was in shopping center and across the street from another one. It was a new place with a nice room, a... more

September 6, 2006 – I had the opportunity to spend one night at the Reno Courtyard for business. I enjoyed my one-night stay! The hotel is located adjacent to highway 395 only about five miles south of Reno/Tahoe airport. Check in was typical “Marriott” quick, taking about one minute. I had reserved a king non-smoking room with a request for... more

I love this hotel. If I ever have a reason to come back to Reno, this is where I will stay. Everyone was so friendly, the place is SO clean! And the beds are the most comfortable I've experienced in a hotel, with lots of fluffy fabulous pillows. A full range of channels on the TV, the pool area is... more

As always, I try to be fair in my commentary and provide the proverbial good, bad and the ugly. ROOM: Stayed in room 215, a King Bed Suite. The room was clean and comfortable. The room offered a separate vanity and bathroom. In the front room, it had a coffee-type bar with a microwave and coffee maker. Free internet was... more
