Stayed here 3 nights on business. This was my choice of where to stay when on business in Reno. I have stayed here since it opened 7-8 years ago. But now its starting to show its age, carpets stained, linens worn etc. Customer service has always just been ok and I put up with it because I liked the hotel.... more

Hotel smells like an ash tray- especially if staying on a lower floor. The smell of the casino caries up to about the 4th floor. The Casino is full of local gambleaholics who mostly look like homeless people. I don't get what makes it a boutique hotel- the linens and room amenities were all pretty much something you could find... more

We actually didn't stay overnight at this resort...we were just visiting for the first time. My husband and I signed up for the rewards card and were given $10 in free slot play as new members. We had brunch in the Contrada Cafe that overlooked the Truckee river. It was amazing to see fishermen, kayakers, tubers and snorkelers just outside... more

As a long time gambling patron of this property - even before it was the Siena, I was comped a room at $59 per nite, next nite free. Made a last minute reservation for our first time staying here and asked if an upgrade was possible - it was for no additional charge. Arrived and asked if we could upgrade... more

In April (2008) we stayed at the Siena Hotel in Reno, Nevada with our children and grandchildren. We wanted a place where we could gamble, sight-see, and visit Lake Tahoe. The Siena is a small “boutique” hotel that was very nice, but the rooms were quite small. Because we were flying from out of town, the children could not take... more

We selected this property because we wanted nice beds, less crowds, good food/wine, and a spacious room for the price. We got it all at the Siena. This is a nice hotel and we will return every time we are in Reno. Yes, there is a flop house somewhere across the street. We never saw it or noticed it. The... more

DON"T trust the Siena! It is NOT the high-end service hotel it advertises. I booked an overnight stay at the Siena by telephone several weeks in advance, reserved with a credit card, and received a confirmation number. I advised them I was arriving after midnight from the East Coast. When my husband and I arrived at around 1 am, we... more

Oh the flaws of this property. Where can I start? Lets start with air quality. All guest rooms are non-smoking which is nice. This was completely counteracted with the fake perfumed air freshener blown into every area in the hotel (not sure about the casino). If you have any chemical or scent sensitivities, DO NOT stay at this hotel. I... more

The most comfortable beds and wonderful spa around. We have always had excellent service and never felt uncomfortable or frightened in any way with the other clientele or staff. The rooms are clean and can be a bit small, but for a few nights it's just fine. We will continue to stay here and love it. more

We didnt know what to expect since we had just read some bad reviews from yahoo's website. However, we found our stay to be very enjoyable. We chose to self park since the parking is in such close proximity to the hotel. We arrived at the doors to be greated by the bell staff. They have a staff on the... more
