Atlantis for me was like a redneck version of the Mandalay Bay in Vegas. Trying really hard to have that tropical theme. Had a problem with booking through orbitz took a hour to check in. Got a nice upgraded room. Too bad I was by myself it was a great party room with a granite bar. Dealers were ok. Room... more

This was my first stay at Artlanis and I was not impressed. We stayed in the Atrium Tower on the 10th floor. The room was very average, but sufficent. I would much rather have stayed in one of the Peppermills new rooms. There was no mini fridge or coffee maker, but there was a mini safe free of charge and... more

This has got to be the worst experience I have ever had at a hotel, and this includes my trips out of the country to rural towns in Costa Rica. When we first checked in the guy at the check in desk seemed pleasant and even "upgraded" our room. We were thankful and went to our room. After driving straight... more

It's interesting how the reviews on the Atlantis are all over the place, and I can see why. The first time we stayed there, several years ago, it was a 5. Last year, I'd have given it a 2. But with all the remodeling work, I'm back up to a 4. Check-in was quick, no problems. Customer service at the... more

We booked a night at the Atlantis in Reno through Priceline. When we got there and drove around for about 10 minutes looking for a parking space in a massive parking lot completely maxed out with cars, it turned out that what they booked us in was the motel across the parking lot that is part of the Atlantis hotel... more

We chose the Atlantis because they allow pets. Mind you, only in the "Motor Lodge" section... which is a 1960's motel. O.K., I am glad that there is someplace that accepts well behaved dogs. I am sure that better hotels do not allow them because they have had problems with pet damage. About the hotel: Rooms were 1988 floral style... more

I stayed at the Atlantis a few years ago and it was fine. I have to say that hotel conditions and the customer service have made it one of the worst places to stay. Here is a short list of things I encountered during my stay: 1. The remote control for the television did not work. I had to call... more

I recently stayed at the Atlantis on business, one week in late May and another week in June. The hotel staff was efficient and the rooms were clean. The first stay I stayed in the Luxury Tower on the 16th floor. The room was very large, as was the bathroom. The room even a sofa in it and the bed... more

We stayed four nights at the Atlantis and were surprised to be booked in a suite. We booked through Trip.res.com for $39 a night so we were not expecting a suite. The room was great, the buffet was good, the slot were bad to me but good to my wife, the pool area is very nice also. We went downtown... more

Our 4th year at the Atlantis with our golf group. This year, as in past years the service was good. As for ssome of the previous regarding hotel condition and service, I do not see it. The Atlantis is always clean and up to date. My room was fine and made up each day. No problems there. Once again, the... more
