The Sahara is an older property, and is definitely showing its age. The rooms are very basic -- think 1970's Howard Johnson's. But they were clean and reasonably comfortable. The A/C was only marginally effective -- had to keep the blinds closed to keep the room tolerably cool. Just as well. Not much of a view from my room. The... more

Great hotel to stay if on a budged. My overall experience was good. Well worth the money. The room was clean and comfy, the only bad thing is the carpet is stained and the furniture was old, but you get what you pay for so I didn't care. It had a excellent access bridge to the monorail right next to... more

Stayed on a Tuesday thru Saturday. 7/15 - 7/19. There were three of us staying in one room. Not real fancy. The furniture is old but the beds were comfortable and clean. They don't give you a lot of extras, but it's inexpensive and we usually bring our own. They do have a fridge you can rent for $10.90 a... more

My wife and I stayed at the Sahara Casino Hotel from July 14th to 17th. We read some of the reviews after we booked and were going to cancel but it was after the 72-hour cancellation penalty before we realized our mistake! The first thing you see upon arriving is the run down garage with trash and broken beer bottles.... more

The Sahara is a bit worn down, some of the other parts of the hotel might be better though. If i go to Vegas again i would look for some better offers further down the Strip. The pool area is nice, and the bar/cafe is good. It is also a plus that the monorail is so close. more

My husband and I stayed at the Sahara for 4 nights. The price was nice but you pay for what you get. I read alot of reviews before we booked and I wish I would of listened. If you are a non-smoker beware. All the rooms smell like a smoker was recently there. The buffet was horrible! We tried breakfast... more

We stayed at the Sahara just overnight on our way to California. I had read mixed reviewed but more good than bad. We ended up having a terrible experience. First of all we waited over 45 minutes to check in since they only had 3 clerks on a Saturday night. We were not expecting great things but the shabbiness of... more

I wanted to spend my money on gambling not on my room. The rooms are okay but not very clean. Outdated decor. Nice but small casino. Slots payed out pretty good. Friendly dealers at the table games. Check in was fast and overall service was good. At the end of the strip but the monorail was easy to get to... more

This place is awful. We arrived late in the afternoon, carried our luggage up to the hotel room and got ready to go out for the evening, an hour later when we arrived back at my boyfriends truck it had been broken into and everything had been stolen, including his personal hanging clothes we hadn't had an opportunity to take... more
