the hotel was clean and that was the only plus.they are next to construction that blocks most of the view of the strip. The construction is non stop except for Sundays and we could here it in the room, it started at 5am. They closed part to the lazy river, due to construction. We had 3 different rooms. The second... more

There are lots of bad reviews of the Monte Carlo, but after staying for 3 nights, it can't be beat in Vegas if you travel with family. The room was excellent and large, the pool is very kid-friendly, and the place is not overrun with drunks or partiers. We were very happy and intend to stay there again. It's also... more

I know the Monte Carlo is currently getting a bad rap, particularly regarding the construction issues and what some believe to be deteriorating lodging. But to be frank, it's not so bad. While the rooms aren't in new condition they are certainly satisfactory. The casino is small and easy to navigate. Just ask for a room that doesn't face construction.... more

We would recommend this hotel if you want to stay on the Las Vegas Strip. It's well positioned, has great facilities and the room was very comfortable, spacious and well equipped. The only thing missing from the room was tea/coffee making facilities (however, there was a good Starbucks downstairs in the food court). more

This is the first time I stayed at the Monte Carlo (MC) and it wasn't bad. I went with a friend of mine for the 4th of July weekend and she chose the MC because she wanted to relax. The MC is definitely a nice hotel if you want to relax because there are not many "young singles" running around... more

The hotel is in a great location of the Strip. The Casino itself is average. The buffet (I forget the name) Restaurant is decent priced and has a nice variety of tasty food. The Spa is not the nicest I have been in, but is average I would say. The procedures I had done were above my expectations and the... more

the rooms are old and worn the hotel and the pool area smelled like a sewer. The bed spreads looked like they were from the year one they were stained and worn. the pool area was not adaquet for a hotel that size. The rooms were dark and dingy and falling apart and the windows are FILTHY. so even if... more

We came out to Vegas for a family wedding & stayed at the Monte Carlo Hotel & Casino. As Vegas has been shifting dramatically away from a family atmosphere over the last five years, it was refreshing to find the kid-friendly amenities hidden in the Monte Carlo. The wave pool & lazy river were a popular hit with my 8... more

We got a smoking room though we had requested a non-smoking. Couldn't sleep at all. They changed the room on the next day. the conversation from the next room was audible. Breakfast Buffet was good. more

We stayed at the Monte Carlo from June 29th -July 2nd. The Casino was nice ,easy to navigate and lots of fun( the music tends to be a little loud for my taste.) I had a good time in the comfortable sports book. This is an easy walk to the New York-New York casino next door( N.Y-N.Y. is conected to... more
