i love the Blue Moon. sure its in an industrial area but it's atmosphere makes up for its lack of location. the blue moon has a clothing optional pool and hot tub steam and video room. the sleeping room is well designed with a nice comfortable bed with blacked out room and air-coditioning to make a zoned out sleeping experience.... more

To be succinct (because the place doesn't really warrant anything else) the place is OK, but well off the strip and, as others have written, in an industrial area of Vegas. The Blue Moon is laid out in the same mode as it was when a Travelodge, and with that, is not worth the price. The continental breakfasts are nothing... more

I was excited to stay at this hotel from the way it was promoted on the web site...but...the resort (would question why it has the title of resort) is in a very industrial part of Las Vegas and a good $20 everytime you want to head to the strip. The rooms are decent but be careful of the bed frames.... more

Had a wonderful stay with the Bluemoon. John and his wonderful staff is very easy to work with. Arrived early in the morning and they did best to accomodate us and made us feel welcome. The Blue Moon Resort. Where do I begin? First off, It's a welcomed escape from the typical, highly overrated hotels on (or off) the Vegas strip. Arriving on my birthday, I was greeted by the host with a pleasant smile a warm and welcoming demeanor. He was very knowledgeable of the area, and eager to assist with helping me navigate... more

While the Blue Moon Resort is a bit away from the famed Las Vegas strip (and all its monster hotels and crowds!), it more than makes up for in hospitality, comfort and fun for the gay man traveller. This was my second visit to the Resort, the first time being just after they opened 5 years ago. The owner (John,... more

Although a bit off The Strip, the Blue Moon is impeccably clean, very professionally run by a friendly & helpful staff, and just a fantastic lodging experience! more

My partner and I thought it would be very fun to spend the last two nights of my Birthday get away in Las Vegas at "the only all gay male resort in Las Vegas" I think it was fun. We really liked the style in the room, although it really looked like something you would see on Design on a... more

There are aleady some good and thorough recent reviews, so I'll try to keep it short. Blue Moon is not for everyone. It is no more than 2 *stars compared to other hotels. It still looks like a Travelodge, which it was before it became Blue Moon. It is not upgraded enough to warrant a higher rating. Astroturf, silk flowers... more

This Noisy Motel is bordering a highway and is some distance from the Vegas Strip. Although the rooms were clean and comfortable they were by no means an indication of the rate charged. The room rate is equal and higher than that of some of the hotels on the Strip. Why it is called a resort i have no idea,... more
