Our third stay in less than a year. Hotel offers good rates (though they tack on a "resort fee") and the facilities are on par with Mandalay Bay, Venetian, etc. The valet and front of the house staff are wonderful. The dealers are fun and the casino is top notch. Food options are excellent (Terra Verde is really good for... more

Yes the hotel is beautiful. But who designed the layout? Every conversation I overheard or had in the elevator with other guests was about how no one could find their room. We encountered a women in her bikini that was lost and could not find her room. This is the first time that I seriously went out and located the... more

I stayed at the GVR and I was shocked to find out that this is an AAA 4 diamond resort. I had problems at check in #1 being finding the hotel lobby ( the dungeon) to check in. The casino is on the 2nd floor and the lobby is on the first floor so after check in you have to... more

I stayed at GVR July 2-4th.I was sorry to leave GVR. It had a very at home feel. It was classically decorated in contrast to it's sister property Red Rock which is very contemporary in style. The crowd was very diverse in age. Check in was super quick and painless. I arrived several hours before scheduled ck in due to... more

Booked our stay here through a package deal with Allegiant Air. Direct flights to/from Las Vegas plus room deals?!?! Yes please! Stayed here June 27 - July 1, 2 nights in a ground floor 2 Queens handicap accessible room and then 2 nights in a 4th floor King room. Both rooms were in the East Tower, which either looks towards... more

Stayed at GVR from June 14-19, 2008 for a conference. Found out about the free airport shuttle prior to leaving by calling the hotel. The person I spoke with was very informative, and we (there were 5 of us) had no problems finding the shuttle pick up area. This was a large conference, so there were about 40 people waiting... more

Stayed here for our wedding night. Our house had a plumbing problem the night before our wedding and it was not fixed still on the day of our wedding so we made reservations for our family that was staying with us too. So we actually had two rooms. They put us close together, a few doors down. Our family was... more

Nice rooms and plenty of restaurants with various price ranges on site. Pools were nice but very crowded on weekend. Not so bad on weekday. Enjoyed misters and partial shade of palm trees next to pool because it was over 100 degrees when we were there. Music was very loud at the adult only pool so preferred the main pool.... more

I'm a Vegas veteran and until last week had always stayed on the Strip. I was hesitant about trying a place that was not only not on the strip, but also wasn't close to it. My worries were for nothing! The hotel and grounds at GVR are absolutely beautiful and the accomodations are top notch. The staff at GVR is... more

This is a lovely place with a killer pool and great restaurants, but as a hotel in Las Vegas it is grossly overpriced and miserably laid out. Nothing is convenient to get to as the front desk it down endless hallways from the rooms. There are locks on every what seem like an endless series of security doors, causing you... more
