I have stayed at this motel for the last 6 years during the Cowboy Poetry Gathering, and it is excellent. It is clean, relatively quiet, and well-managed. The location is better than those at the other end of town, within walking distance of great shopping, the Basque restaurants and the Western Folklife Center. I highly recommend it. more

Absolute Dump! The room smelled of stale cigarettes, ****, and beer, like a trucker or cowboy after a bath. Right outside, 18-wheeler trucks rattled past all night, using their jake brakes. Rooms are very nicely decorated. They are large and clean. Comfortable beds. Our room also included a micowave, refrigerator combo.
