This hotel exceded my expectations. The hotel was extremely well kept and roomier than I thought. We reserved a suite with 2 queen size beds, the room was extremely spacious and didn't smell of smoke like most hotels with a casino do. There is a steakhouse, a small diner and a bowling alley. The casino isn't very big at all... more

We stayed 2 nights & had a great time, location was easy to find. Hotel is quiet, clean, roomy & has a tub. The pool landscapeing is very nice, even has BBQ's for you to use, the pool is big & clean. The Spa was nice too. We did not see or hear any unruley guests. The view from the... more

There was good and bad about this hotel. The good was the beautiful desert view of mountains out our windows. The best thing was that they opened and we let in lots of fresh air. The weather in March is wonderful. We also enjoyed the cows and calfs outside our window in the morning. The coffee shop is excellent. Ate... more

The rooms are nice and the hotel is not too big--where you might get lost. We have friends in Carson City and I used to work there. I've stayed in most of the hotels in Carson. We now go to Carson for fun and new memories. The casino is small but fine for general gambling. a pool, hot tub, bowling... more

Wife and I stayed here with two adult daughters, and were given adjacent rooms with a connecting door. The rooms were on the second floor, as far from the lobby as possible. As a result, it was very quiet. Food in the coffee shop and restaurant was quite good. Rooms are comfortable and clean and modern, and the low price... more

My family and I made our first trip to Carson City and needed to find a hotel. I had done some research on the internet of some hotels in the area and decided we should check out the Pinion Plaza. We arrived on a weekend so it was busy but we managed to get a room. We were on the... more

I'm a big fan of Best Western. I stayed at this hotel a year ago and loved it. This time, I stayed on Saturday night, March 4, and I will never return to this hotel again. Our room was located on the first floor in the 100 series. Even though we were placed in our "requested" non-smoking room, cigarette smoke... more

I've stayed at a handful of Carson city properties and the Pinon is the best. The rooms are comfortable and the Branding Iron restauraunt has been good. The exercise room is outstanding. There's something wrong with the phones as dial-up connections with a computer often don't work. Keep in mind that you don't have the cream of the crop in... more

Our stay at the carson city pinion plaza was outstanding. All the food was super. IN the branding iron, we had a humongous ice cream sundae and for about $3 or so. The steak house was superior and steaks delicious. The bartender there named Nancy was so informative with the wine list and recommendations for the specials. She gave us... more

I had an emergency trip to Carson City to attend my father's funeral, Arthur Gionta. My stay was Feb. 26th thru Mar. 1st. Jerry Ann Gionta, my step mother, made all the arrangements at the Best Western Pinon Plaza Resort (2171 Hwy 50 East, Carson City Nevada). The hotel staff was very helpful and the stay was excellent. I just... more
