My wife and I chose to stay at the Travelodge during a recent motorcycle trip of sourthern Illinois and Missouri. We found the room clean, the pool refreshing, and the location very convenient to the historic district (a 5 minute walk). I would not hesitate to stay here again. more

This place was horrible! The room we rented was on the upper level, which you had to drive around the side of the hotel to get to, on a one lane torn up road. The coffee pot had hair in it. The tv guide had an illegal substance stashed inside it. We stayed 2 days, and never got clean towels... more

Stayed Here Several Times. As US 36 moved and became an Interstate, this is a much quieter place to stay. Not the closest motel to the historic distance, but a reasonable hike - about 4 blocks to the edge of the district which is spread out over several blocks. Nice, older AAA motel. Offers a good value in tourist town.... more
